1. how to make indestructible highsec POS's - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Haven't actually tested this, but how about: When initially declaring war, pass two duplicate votes, then action only one of them. If they join/drop alliance, action the second vote. You should be able to time this so the new war goes live at aro...

2. IEEE Adventures. Zenith Labs - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Ah, J Black, you'd be the guy who threatened us, on 2010.05.18, with a wardec unless we retracted the Zenith war. A week later, the Zenith war is still live and we're still waiting for your wardec to appear.

4. T2 BPO's - Going Rate? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Perhaps part of the demand for the BPOs is not so much for profit, but as a hedge against market and game mechanics volatility. i.e. if you have a Nighthawk BPO your build costs are largely immune to any price changes in invention inputs or chang...

5. A Short Transmission on a Few Upcoming Changes - New Chronotis Blog - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
How are you meant to get economies of scale on capital ship production when you can't install more than 2 runs at a time? Waste on capital ship BPOs behaves quite differently to waste on, say, tech1 ship BPOs because the inputs are small in numbe...

6. Share Virtualization - The Next Step for EVE Stock Exchanges - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Edited by: Alain DeMorgan on 02/11/2007 08:29:50 This is basically the "reserve bank" simultaneous-exchange-of-securities settlement model. (Using the jargon of my previous life writing bank software.. the pain, the pain..). The RB holds shar...

7. Carrier overview bugged with lots of drones folders - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
This can be fixed by playing around with the overview sizing. I can't remember the exact process but from memory you do something like: - collapse the "selected target" bit - resize the ship-listing part of your overview so it's large - reexpand ...

9. FIN - Updates and Feedback Request - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Originally by: Ionia This is simply incorrect, BPOs bought with the isk he raised from the bond sales could be used as collateral if he so wished. There is absolutely no reason why they couldn't be. Um. The collateral was in place befor...

10. FIN - Updates and Feedback Request - in Market Discussions [original thread]
One more thing. Can I ask the trustees to confirm that they currently have locked-down assets covering 120% of the bond's value right now? Eefrit was talking about it taking 12-18 months of no bonus payouts to "recover"; given the explanation abov...

13. FIN - Updates and Feedback Request - in Market Discussions [original thread]
EMFi has it right. The main thing to remember is: buying bonds is making a loan to the issuer of the bonds . You are lending money in return for an ongoing stream of interest payments. What Eefrit does with that loan is pretty much his business...
